About

Since 2003, Martin Atzmüller is a research assistant at the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Applied Computer Science at the University of Würzburg, Germany. He received his diploma in Computer Science from the University of Würzburg in 2002, and his Ph.D. in 2006. In 1999/2000 he studied at the University of Texas at Austin (UT) in Austin, Texas, USA, for a year.

His research interests include

  • Knowledge-intensive Data Mining,
  • Text Mining and Information Extraction,
  • Ontologies and the Semantic Web,
  • Visualization methods,
  • Knowledge and Experience Management.
